Everything that was once hard is now easy.

I heard someone say that on a podcast last week.

And when you think about it, it’s true probably 99% of the time.

 

At one point in your life just learning to walk was hard. 

But now it’s second nature.

Learning to drive – using the clutch, indicating, checking mirrors, changing gear, steering, avoiding flattening a pedestrian all at the same time . . . that was hard.

Now you can drive without giving it too much thought.

 

There are loads of examples where something that was initially difficult, is now fairly straightforward.

 

Training and nutrition are exactly the same.

In the begining tracking your food, learning to squat, and dedicating time to go to the gym is hard and maybe a little confusing.

But it won’t be hard forever.

 

 

If you commit, keep learning and follow the right guidance then at some point using MyFitnessPal becomes second nature.

Next, your squat technique will be nearly spot on, while going to the gym becomes something that you just do.

 

 

Of course, it’ll take time, effort and commitment, but it’ll be worth it.

 

 

PS. The quickest way to turn something from being hard to being easy is to get someone to coach you how to do it.

Ideally someone who’s coached a lot of other people to success too.

 

Like when you learned to drive.

You didn’t just jump in the car and start bombing it around town.

You found an instructor, an expert to teach you the steps, and give you the very best chance of success.

 

 

You should consider doing that for your body too.

 

Get a coach, someone who can guide you, hold you accountable and tell you exactly what you need to do to get in the best shape of your life.
