Occupation: I am currently a full time nursing student at CSULALift Off Strength Family Member Since:I joined not long ago in January of 2018 How did you get started at Lift Off Strength?I wanted to start working out and getting in shape (especially after sitting for hours daily just to study) and after coming across Lift Off Strength and meeting Eric I knew right away this was exactly what I was looking for. What kind of results have you seen in your time at LOS? I saw results instantly! My body is toned, I feel stronger and my energy levels are up the roof lol Give us a long term AND short term fitness goal: My long term goal is to make fitness and clean eating my way of life and not just to quit after summer is over. I would love to keep getting stronger and increasing my endurance and working on my coordination. My short term goal is to do a full pull up without the band! What would you tell someone that is on the fence about CrossFit and not sure whether they should give it a try or not?DO IT!!! You have nothing to lose and you will probably love it anywaysWhat is your proudest CrossFit accomplishment thus far?Just the fact that I am consistent and working out 4 times a week is a huge accomplishment for me! Tell us something about you that nobody knows, preferably an embarrassing story! I love to sing in my car as if I were a superstar lol. I’m pretty sure people who drive by me get a good laugh because I get really into my music regardless of the fact that I can’t sing for the life of me. If you could workout with ANYONE…who would it be and why?I would really love to work out with my husband Eliya because we push each other to be better versions of ourselves. However, he is not quite ready yet to get off the couch but he will be!!!If you could have dinner with 3 people, any lifetime, who and why?
Bob Marley because I love what he stood for and his music has been my go to since I was a child.
Anthony Kiedis because he is badass DUH!
Albert Einstein because it would probably be a very interesting dinner.
What do you love most about Lift Off Strength? This is easy because Lift off Strength is like family by choice. From the moment I joined I felt so welcomed and like a part of something. The coaches and members are super nice which make the classes so much more fun! I also love that the coaches care about me and my progress. What is your favorite quote and/or motto…one that you live by?Everything is for a reason! How has CrossFit changed your life? I never imagined I would be so enthusiastic about working out and this is all thanks to crossfit. I have fun doing it and it makes me feel so accomplished. Crossfit gives me confidence, builds my strength, and proved me that I can do much more than I think I can. Crossfit constantly pushes me a little further physically which in turn gives me the drive to push myself further mentally.
