Youth Fitness at Lift Off Strength is unlike any other program.

The LOS Youth Fitness program is all about exposing your child to the weight room in a safe, fun, and controlled environment. This program will:

Improve self esteem
Teach a love of fitness
Create respect for the weight room
Improve strength + fitness
Reduce likelihood of injury

Who its for:
Youngsters ages 10-15. No prior workout experience necessary – we will teach them everything they need to know to succeed in our program.

Times:
Tuesday + Thursday 4:30pm – 5:30pm (Ages 11-14) SIGN UP HERE

This is a temporary schedule for summer 2018. Based on feedback we will revise a schedule for use during the school year.

Start Date:
Tuesday July 10th, 2018.

Format:
Workouts will be 1 hour long. We will focus on coordination, balance, agility, and beginner level strength.

Size:
10 or fewer participants.

Pricing:
$40/week – 2 workouts per week. Billed bi-weekly. No contract or long term commitment.

Instructor:

Sarah “Tubes” Tubert – Long time member, Youth volleyball coach, LOS adult fitness coach, Athlete on US National Deaf Olympic Volleyball team. Sarah brings a wealth of coaching experience with both kids and adults to the program.

Eric Amzalag – Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Kinetic Integrations Exercise Professional, CrossFit Level 2. Eric brings years of experience coaching youth privately to levels of excellence in their sport.

Limited Space Available. Sessions are limited to 10 attendees.

This class focuses on continued development in a fun environment.
We start with teaching fundamental healthy movement patterns, and gradually introduce a few higher- level athletic techniques such as technique work capacity, accuracy, flexibility, coordination, bodyweight strength, core strength, endurance, and goal-setting. This is an age group where we can start to introduce strength training and begin to touch on nutrition.

Your kids will learn to love fitness, nutrition, and will learn good motor patterns for functional movement that will benefit them for a lifetime and create the safest foundation for sports and training programs in their future. They will also benefit from coaches who have been trained/certified in how movement affects academics, healthy social interactions, problem-solving and a positive growth mindset.
